Den Remodel Update

I'm on a mission to give you better updates about the house progress I'm making.  I have a bad habit of showing you a room in its beginning stages and not providing followup posts.  I didn't want to show you rooms that were half done or in progress because I wanted the final reveal to be perfect.  However, I'm learning that it takes time to create a room to perfection (a room that you truly live in and love and that's not just staged), and that ideas of perfection will change over time.

So in my effort to be more revealing, I'm showing off my killer legs den.  The last time I posted about the den was back in April and I talked about furnishing the room.  I showed you pictures of a cabinet and chair that I had purchased. Well, those pieces found homes in other rooms.  The cabinet is now in our dining room and the chair is in our master bedroom.  Instead I found a coffee table and console from Ballard Designs and a bench from HomeGoods.

Here's a little timeline to refresh your memory about where we started:

And here is the den today in all of her unfinished glory:

I'll be sure to share updates with you as I select window treatments, pick out accent tables and wall art, and (maybe) paint the room a different color.  :)
