Seashell Art

I brought home a collection of seashells from our vacation on Cape Cod.  I was able to use some of my favorites to create a piece of art for our master bathroom.

I purchased the frame from HomeGoods for about $10.  I removed the glass and put in a piece of linen scrapbook paper I found at Michael's to serve as the background.  I reassembled the frame and used my glue gun to glue the seashells directly on the linen.  It was so cheap and easy to make and now I have my own custom artwork.

This room is almost done.  I'm still working on a few finishing touches, but not this weekend! Enjoy the long weekend and the last days of summer!
