5 Online Stores for the DIY Decorator

I was reading the September 2013 issue of Country Living and not only does it feature a fabulous Hurricane Sandy home remodel by Emily Henderson, it's also a great DIY issue.

I noted (5!) new-to-me websites for DIY-loving decorators that I thought you might like.

1. : They offer no-VOC, flexible vinyl adhesive sheets that you can stick to most anything (cabinets, furniture, etc.) to give it a major update.    Currently they offer a line of pre-cut IKEA-compatible products.

2. : Similar concept to Panyl, except it's peel and stick wood paneling!  Seriously, how
cool is that?

3. : If you want to easily update your IKEA furniture, this site offers replacement legs (the mag said they're coming out with a universal plate that will fit other furniture soon).  How cute are these?!

4. : This site sells decorative fretwork overlays that you can use to add pattern and texture to your furniture.  Like Panyls, and PrettyPegs, they have a line specifically made for IKEA products.  I'm thinking of buying some to update our IKEA Hemnes dresser in the dining room

5. : Offering an alternative to standard window treatments, this site sells nature-inspired window film.  Aren't these prints so pretty?

  1. Cool! I love the idea of easily changing the IKEA pieces. Thanks for sharing. I need to remember to pin this when I get home =)

  2. love these! can't wait to use the over lays on my ikea furniture

  3. I'm really excited about the overlays too! I have some ideas planned for them!

  4. Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. I'm probably way more excited than I should be!!

    1. You're welcome! I totally share your enthusiasm! :)
